About Us
For the past eight years, I've owned and operated Grammy's Floral here in Shelbyville. It was a long time dream of mine to own a business where I could utilize my passsion for flowers and make that in to a successful business!! That dream came true in June of 2012, and I was elated!! The name Grammy came from what my grandchildren called me when they were little, so of course it was the obvious name for my shop. The name made sense because of my love for my family and I enjoy every minute of being a grandma.
I'm proud to be a longtime resident of Shelbyville. I have a deep love for my community and care greatly for my town and country and my family and friends that live here. My love of flowers began when I was a small child. My Mother and my Grandmother both had the love for flowers, and instilled that love in me. When I was 13 yrs old, my mother bought a shop in Findlay, which launched me in to the retail aspect of creating floral arrangements of silk flowers. I've had many other careers but floral design is my passion, and eight years ago it became a reality. From that moment on, I've never looked back!
My team and I proudly serve Shelbyville and surrounding areas, including Findlay, Tower Hill, Cowden, Stewardson-Strasburg, Herrick, Windsor, Assumption, Westervelt and occasionally Bethany, Pana and Sullivan! We've delivered many beautiful creations to houseboats, campgrounds, hospitals and areas so rural that GPS wouldn't register!
We are a dedicated group that wants the best quality for our customers. We have heard over and over how long our arrangements last and we couldn't be more thrilled to hear that! We strive to keep our prices low and use the freshest, best quality flowers possible!
We also deliver silk or fresh floral arrangements to cemeteries year round for those who are out of town and cannot get back to tend to their loved ones graves. We are proud and honored to do this for you. We offer several different types of cemetery arrangements for you to choose from.
We believe in high quality, personalized flower designs that reflect the person that you are sending it to. We want it to be unique and special, not cookie cutter. We take care of it like it was for one of our family members (sometimes it is). And the thing is, we ENJOY making floral arrangements and we LOVE WHAT WE DO.
